KALISPELL GOTHIC WEDDING

This was one helluva unique and incredible REAL gothic wedding in downtown Kalispell, Montana! Jenny and Dan have been together for oh, about 1000 years and wanted to have an outrageously different kind of fall wedding celebration. I think they succeeded. The couples portraits of them make me swoon - so dark and deep and brooding. Between his makeup and her epic headdress, they actually couldn't physically get that close to one another without causing damage (hah, ummm this is a wedding, they need to touch!), and this challenge forced us to think outside the box on the fly (and in the rain!). The result? Some pretty dynamic imagery that oozes their edgy connection. They also have an adorable son (who channeled all of his baby vampire vibes in his red velvet suit) and an amazing core group of best friends and wanted them all to be a huge part of their gothic wedding day. Our bridal party imagery is pretty damn cool. Our big joke of the day was that someday we'll be in line at the supermarket with one of the groomsmen, BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW IT!

Between her headdress and the groom's goth makeup, we had to come up with new poses that didn't involve any closeness or touching...at a wedding! HAHA!
NEAT FACTOID:
We bought that gorgeous vintage velvet settee 2 years prior to this wedding and FINALLY got to use it. It was perfect.

WHAT MADE IT SPOOKY?
This was just an overall kickass halloween styled wedding and it was so fun to be able to be super creatives and focus on out of the box portraits. It was awesome!
