BIGFORK INTIMATE WEDDING

Priscilla & Matthew

Take a peek at this elegant, western inspired intimate wedding at the gorgeous Venue at Montana 45 in Bigfork, Montana! We spent a very sunshiny spring evening celebrating Priscilla and Matthew along with their closest family and friends in a very Montana-y wedding affair. They had the most stunning western style reception design, florals and invites - every detail was impeccable and we swooned while photographing each carefully curated tidbit. No wedding is complete without some unexpected shenanigans - the groom dislocating a shoulder once or twice definitely added some exciting drama & trauma to the day (that was a new one for us in these 14 years). Fear not -  the show must go on and that it did! After a sunkissed ceremony with the cutest ring bearer of the season - AKA Ranger the Malinois, they had a delicious supper inside at their beautifully designed soirée and shared in a smorgasbord of delightful desserts. They made it back outside to relax in the dreamy evening light - playing yard games, smoking cigars & drinking darn good whiskey as the music played on. Then we dashed over for some beautiful golden hour portraits by the pond and wrapped the night up after they shared their impeccable first dance at sunset followed by a bit of good old fashioned boot scootin.’ The next day we made our way into Glacier on the first day the road opened (because we are gluttons for punishment) and their adventure portrait session along Going to the Sun Road was absolutely stunning!

Jessica and her assistants were soooo awesome. We really debated on whether or not to do the adventure session since it was quite a bit more, but it was arguably the best decision we made. Our timeline got funky when my husband fell down the stairs and dislocated his shoulder but she stayed a little longer and made it work. She got some amazing shots, I don't think there's any that I wish we had or that she missed. She also picked our venue (Montana45) and our cake (bakes and cakes by brie) which were also some of the best choices we made. Love love love, can't say anything better about her and her team!

WHAT MADE IT MAGICAL?

Priscilla and Matthew opted for a wedding adventure session in Glacier National Park for one spectacular couples portraits! We were crossing our fingers that the Going to the Sun Road would open and it did (the day of the session!)! Their images from a springy, snow laden Logan Pass came out so stunning and really rounded out their gorgeous gallery.
